One of the most specialized applications of our materials is in the formulation of additives for crude oil production. In our laboratories we design new formulations and examine the physicochemical characteristics that determine their good performance as demulsifiers, desalters, flow improvers, corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, among others. In addition, we offer the market new sustainable alternatives based on more environmentally friendly chemical products.

Our products are evaluated by modulating or modifying different quantifiable parameters to simulate performance or application conditions. The purpose is to demonstrate that our portfolio adequately meets our customers’ expectations.

The extensive infrastructure of Polioles’ R&D laboratories allows the development of robust analytical methodologies to qualify and quantify parameters of interest in all our products, including chemical functionalities and compliance with international standards.
